Connect and discover

Add https://api-v2.hive-loop.com/mcp as a remote Streamable HTTP MCP server. Sign in and authorize the intended workspace.
Enable the connection and refresh its tool catalog. You should see domain.*.v2 tools. No toolset header or extra domain connection is required.
Choose a domain and call action: discover for your task. Call action: describe with the returned operation ID to get schemas, approvals, effects, cost and completion rules.
Call action: invoke through that domain with the exact operation, its validated arguments and a stable operation UUID for non-read work.

Each teammate signs in separately. Token scopes, live consent and current workspace membership all limit access. Discovery does not grant permissions or dynamically add tools. Refresh cached definitions when migrating an existing connection.

Results, cost and safe retries

Read the operation contract before invoking. Gateway credits and downstream charges differ; zero gateway cost does not establish free work. Previews can persist suggestions, page generation may publish, and starting or resuming a Hiveloop can send.

Inspect status, execution_state, output, billing and run/evidence references. Queued work is unfinished: poll jobs.status.get.v2 through domain.workspace.v2. Require read-back verification where provided.

Reuse an operation UUID only for identical retries. After a timeout or uncertain write, reconcile the original run or job before creating new work. Never replay an uncertain V1 write under a V2 ID.
